Your Story, Handcrafted.

Meaningful geography becomes dimensional art—precision-carved, hand-finished, and refined through a process suited to each commission.

Timeline & Process

The process is iterative. I test possibilities, share progress at key moments, and guide decisions that serve the work—whether through collaborative exploration or artistic direction.

01

Private Consultation

We begin with a private consultation to discuss the place, the story, and how you'd like the finished piece to live in your space. I'll share material options, confirm scope, and provide a clear proposal with timeline and investment.

02

Design Proposal & Approval

I prepare a design proposal with renderings, scale options, and a curated materials/finish palette. I confirm the overall direction with you—then refine details as the work progresses. A 50% retainer reserves your build window and initiates the work.

03

Atelier Build

Your landscape is carved with precision over multiple days, then finished entirely by hand—surface preparation, color/finish work, resin pours (if included), detail inlay, and frame joinery. You'll receive quiet progress updates at key milestones. Along the way, I'll share material tests and finish samples as needed—so decisions are grounded in the actual work, not abstract choices.

04

Art-Handled Delivery & Placement

Your piece is crated to art-shipping standards and delivered via art-handled carrier (or local pickup). Final balance is due prior to dispatch. Care and installation guidance are included.

Total Timeline: Most commissions are delivered within 8–12 weeks from consultation. The work is refined through the full build window, with decisions made at key milestones as options are tested and confirmed.

Common Questions

Can you create a map of anywhere in the world?

Yes. If reliable elevation (and bathymetry, if needed) data exists for the region, I can build a commission from virtually anywhere—mountains, coastlines, islands, and cities alike. During consultation, I'll confirm coverage and recommend the best scale for the terrain.

What if I'm not sure about size or budget?

That's common. I'll guide you toward the right scale, materials, and finish level based on where the piece will live, the story you want it to hold, and your investment comfort range. A clear proposal follows the consult, so you can decide with confidence.

How many revisions are included in the design proposal?

There's no fixed revision limit. The process is guided and iterative—at key milestones I'll share options, tests, and real-world samples (when helpful), and decisions are made as the piece evolves. My role is to keep the exploration clear, curated, and deliberate.

Do you offer white-glove delivery / installation guidance?

Yes. Commissions are crated to art-shipping standards and can be delivered via white-glove art carrier when appropriate. I also provide care guidance and installation recommendations, including hanging hardware considerations and placement notes for your lighting and space.

Do you work with interior designers / architects / galleries?

Absolutely. I regularly collaborate with designers, architects, and galleries on scale, palette, and installation requirements. If you're specifying for a project, I can provide finish samples, lead-time coordination, and delivery details suitable for client presentation.

Can I visit the studio?

Yes—studio visits are available by appointment. It's the best way to see materials, finishes, and framing details in person, and to compare scale options before finalizing a commission.
